kinds of legal action.
What is the Statute of Limitations on my personal injury or auto accident case?
In Georgia, you generally have two (2) years from the date of the incident
to file a lawsuit against the negligent party or you lose your claim forever.
This is called the “Statute of Limitations.” You have a maximum
of two (2) years from the date of the incident to work up your claim and
attempt to settle it before filing suit.
